For or Against Meat? Homework week 48


This week we read some texts about the consumption of meat and bugs. The production of meat causes much pollution to the environment (embedded water, for example), therefore it makes sense to reconsider our meat-eating habits. However there are also many reasons to eat meat, as many meat-lovers, would argue. Your homework for next week (due Tuesday 28th November) is to research and find some arguments FOR and AGAINST the consumption of meat (köttkonsumtion). Write them down and be ready to discuss on Tuesday when you'll have to switch roles and argue either FOR or AGAINST the cosumption of meat.

Class 9A Homework Summary + QUIZLET CHANGE

Hello class 9A, here's a little list of 2 little homeworks you have to prepare for next week (week 49): By Tuesday: find a recipe (in English) that you want to make in your cooking show and bring it with you By Thursday: finish the response to our American friends (don't forget to sign your names below the response) I am going to give you 1 week longer for the QUIZLET , so you get more time to practice the words. We'll do the vocabulary test on Tuesday 12th December.

Class 9A weeks 49 and 50

Hello class 9A: here's a little planner for the following couple of lessons to end the term on a high: Week 49 Thursday: finish the scripts for the cooking show (teacher must check and approve it); finish the responses to our American friends;  practice the Quizlet Week 50 Tuesday: you stay at home and tape the cooking show Thursday: you bring the videos of the cooking shows with you and we look at some of them + do the Quizlet!
